MIC TYSON COMING SOON!
Rakim and R.A. the Rugged Man at No Mystery studio working on a movie
soundtrack; they take time off to kick it and speak on a swipe Rakim
took at Kane back in the day.
Brooklyn-born lyricist Masta Ace made his debut alongside Big Daddy
Kane, Kool G Rap, and Craig G on the 1988 Juice Crew posse cut "The
Symphony." Ace followed that appearance with his first full-length
album, Take A Look Around in 1990, and two more LPs before 2001's
Disposable Arts, which is widely regarded as a hip-hop masterpiece.
Known
for crafting cohesive, thematic albums, Masta Ace is about to release
the much anticipated MA DOOM: Son of Yvonne, featuring production
exclusively by DOOM. We spoke to Ace about what inspired the
collaboration, what we can expect from it, what it was like working with
Metal Fingers.
Special appearances by DJ Premier, Freddie Foxxx, Termanology &
Singapore Kane. Performed at GoodLife Boston. Shot and Edited by
